Change Announcement Bar Color on Squarespace

Once you’ve added an announcement bar to your Squarespace website, you might want to change its color.

If so, it’s super simple and can be done in just a few quick steps.

To change the color of your announcement bar on Squarespace click on the paintbrush icon in your edit dashboard to open your site styles.

Click on colors and find the theme that the top section of your page is using.

Scroll down to the Announcement Bar section and here you can see options for both the background and the text.

Simply click on each and select the color you want to use.

If different pages on your website use different themes for the top section of the page then you’ll need to repeat this for every page that the announcement bar appears on.
