How To Enable Tablet View on Squarespace

If you want to preview your Squarespace website on tablet view then you’re going to need to use a plugin.

Unfortunately, this isn’t something you can do natively on Squarespace but the good news is, I have all the information you need to quickly and easily enable tablet view.

To enable tablet view you need to head to squarewebsites.org and find the Squarespace Admin UI Tweaks plugin. This plugin is $40 and will enable various shortcuts on your Squarespace admin dashboard, including offering a tablet view.

Alternatively, you can download the Squarewebsites Chrome extension for $160 per year. This extension includes various plugins, including the UI Tweaks one we’re after.

Once you’ve enabled the plugin (either by purchasing the plugin or the extension) you can activate it on your browser.

Enabling the UI Tweaks plugin will give you various shortcuts including pages and Custom CSS but most importantly, will provide you with two tablet view options, portrait and landscape.

Remember, tablet view will always mirror your desktop design, not mobile.
