New Squarespace Feature: Custom Form Designs

I’ve been using custom code on Squarespace contact forms for ages.

Why? Because I don’t love the native design of Squarespace contact forms.

There’s a new update from Squarespace however that provides new design packs for Squarespace forms, allowing you to customise your form design and remove the need for custom CSS.

Check out the YouTube video below 👇

Firstly, add your contact form to the page you want it to sit on. Once added, double click on the form and head to the design tab of the panel that appears.

Here you’ll see there’s a new section called Form Styles. You can click the drop down menu and select from four different design packs including underlines and borders.

You can also change the button alignment for your contact form, with a new option of making it full width. In my opinion, full width buttons look so much better on contact forms.

If you want to customise your contact form further you can also choose a different button style and add a background to your contact form too.

Over in Site Styles you can further customise your form packs, changing aspects such as fonts and border thickness.
