Want a framework for designing the perfect homepage?
Head to Settings > Domains and select Domains from the list options that appear.
Select the main domain that you want to set up the subdomain for. You then need to select Website in the left hand sidebar and click the Add Rule box.
This is where you add your subdomain.
Add the subdomain and the domain you want to forward it to. You can also change various settings for your subdomain here including deciding whether it’s a temporary or permanent domain and path forwarding.
Once you’re done hit save and that’s it, that’s all you need to do to add a subdomain on Squarespace.
As a rule, it takes between 24-48 hours for the subdomain to go live.
