How to Add Superscript to Squarespace Blog Excerpts
Adding superscript to text on Squarespace isn’t a particularly easy task.
While at the time of writing this guide you still can’t add superscript easily within the text editor, Squarespace have added the ability to add it within blog excerpts.
It seems a little random to me to be able to do it within blog excerpts and not the text editor, which makes me think the text editor version MAY be on its way.
But for now, let’s take a look at how you can add superscript to blog excerpts on Squarespace.

Head to the settings for the blog post that you want to edit and scroll to the blog excerpt section.
Add your blog excerpt and you will notice that there are now some additional options for editing the text.
Next to the strikethrough icon in the edit panel, there is now the option to add superscript to the bottom and top of the text.
To make the text superscript, add the superscript as normal text, highlight it and then select either the top or bottom superscript option.

Don’t forget to hit save once you’re done!
Super simple and a handy tool to have in your back pocket. Unfortunately this icon hasn’t yet appeared in the main text editor, and you can’t copy and paste the superscript across (I tried!) but hopefully it’s on its way soon!
