In this guide, I’ll walk you through exactly how to add Acuity to your Squarespace site, using the built-in scheduling block. You’ll also learn how to connect an external Acuity calendar link if you prefer.
What Is Acuity Scheduling?
Acuity Scheduling is a powerful appointment booking platform that allows clients to view your availability and book time directly into your calendar. It’s perfect for service providers, coaches, consultants, and any business that runs on appointments.
Squarespace acquired Acuity a while back, which means you can now integrate it directly into your Squarespace site, no messy third-party code required.

Embedding Acuity into Your Squarespace Website
For this example, we’ll be embedding the Acuity scheduler into the hero section of a homepage, but you can place it anywhere on your site.
Step 1: Open the Page You Want to Edit
Log into your Squarespace site.
Navigate to the page where you want to display your booking calendar.
Click Edit.
Step 2: Add the Scheduling Block
Click Add Block in the section where you want the scheduler to appear.
Under the Business category, choose Scheduling.
Double-click the block, and it will automatically connect to your Acuity account, assuming you have it set up within Squarespace.
Step 3: Choose Your Appointment Display
The scheduling block will pull in your appointment types and available times. You can:
Display all public appointment types, or
Show a specific appointment type using the dropdown menu.
If you’d rather link to an external Acuity calendar:
Select Custom Link from the appointment type menu.
Paste in your Acuity scheduling page link.
This works similarly to embedding a Calendly or Cal.com link.
Where to Find Your Acuity Link in Squarespace
If you’re not sure where your Acuity link lives:
In your Squarespace dashboard, go to Scheduling.
This opens your Acuity dashboard inside Squarespace.
From here, you can create appointment types, set your availability, and customize the scheduler’s design.
Copy your public Acuity link to use in the custom link option.
Adjusting the Scheduler’s Size
