Build a Calendar on Squarespace

Calendar’s are a popular feature to add to Squarespace websites, especially to display event listings and upcoming activities.

I recently built one for a client that linked to the events listings they already had on their website and it looked really good, so I thought I’d share the process with you too.

Head to the edit dashboard for the page you want to edit and add in your section.

You then need to add a calendar block to the section by clicking add block and searching for calendar in the panel that appears.

Once you’ve got your calendar positioned where you want it on your webpage, double click it to open the edit panel.

Here you can add blogs, store items and events that are already listed elsewhere on your website.

Each new event you add to your events page will appear in the calendar.

And that’s it. As soon as you add events to your events page, they’ll appear in your calendar too. Nice!
