How to Set up a Newsletter Block on Squarespace
Email marketing is one of the biggest tools your business has to grow and engaged audience.
A way to communicate directly with customers, you shouldn’t be overlooking email marketing for your brand.
With that in mind, let’s take a look at how to add a newsletter block to Squarespace in order to prompt sign-ups to your email list.

Head to the page that you want to add your newsletter block to and within the edit dashboard find the section that you want to add a newsletter block to.
Click Add Block and select newsletter from the options. Straight away this will add a newsletter block to your website.
You can double click the box to edit how it looks, including the alignment and text. Don’t forget to double click the require name field option so that you can get your customers name along with their email address.
Within your block editor panel, switch to the storage tab and ensure you’ve toggled on the “enable Google reCAPTCHA” option. You can also connect external storage options such as Google Drive here too.
Once you’re happy with how it looks, hit save and you’ll have added a newsletter block to your Squarespace website.
If you want to find your email list and you’re using Squarespace email campaigns, head to contacts > subscribers and there you’ll find your email list.
Within this section you can add notes to your mailing list, such as personal notes about each customer, as well as opting customers out of marketing if you don’t want them to receive your newsletter.
